Christos Tsimpourlas was born in Larissa in 1959.
Ceramic ART STUDIES: He has attended classes in the public school of OAED, Athens in 1989. He has attended various seminars - raku, primitive firing, etc - held under the auspices of the Greek Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises, EOMMEX and in Kassel University in Germany.

He keeps his own workshop in Athens, since 1989.
He organized the department of Ceramic Art in the Municipalities of Agia Paraskevi and Pallini.
Since September 1998, he is member of the teaching faculty at the K.E.T.E.K. of Neon Herakleion - Athens.
He is member of the teaching faculty at the College of Fine Arts of I. Vorgias (cooperate with the university of Bolton, Great Britain), department of ceramics.
